Mechanically fixed PVC

challenge

After being recommended to Aintree University Hospital by an existing client, AAC Waterproofing was invited to survey an existing canteen roof with a 776 m2 that had been leaking in various places.

our approach

Due to the location of the building with several offices and patient wards overlooking the canteen, AAC Waterproofing proposed to overlay the existing roof with a mechanically fixed PVC membrane Protan, and protective fleece with no insulation.

the result

Work commenced early January 2021 in difficult weather conditions. However, with a dedicated and experienced team, the refurbishment was completed within 12 days with minimal disruption to the surrounding offices and wards.

Signed off independently by Protan, the completed project came with a 20-year guarantee.
